My Beer Notes (MBN) is a UK based start-up founded by Adam Palmer, a beers and ales enthusiast.
The project was to rebrand the product so that it could begin to get recognised as a brand that delivers premium content within the industry.
I helped define the product's value proposition in order to begin creating a vision that the product should strive for.
The outcome was in the form a complete brand redesign from logo to product, and a strategic roadmap to becoming a distinguished and distinctive association.

The Monogram
After researching the landscape, i decided to go for a brand direction that had some history associated with it.
The idea to use a monogram was originally inspired by England’s oldest brewery (Shepherd Neame), which was established in the 1600s and used the monogram for a short period. I explored different ways to illustrate this style with a more intricate and crafted execution to reflect the product's content.
The copper colours were derived from Amber Ales.
