To create an interactive & playful iPhone app to support & promote the digital art exhibition by the Victoria & Albert Museum.
A generative art application was created in response to the brief, which allowed users to take or import photos & manually manipulate them, creating pixelated results.
The app was also integrated into the exhibition's environment by incorporating a livestream video version which would be on constant display.
By rotating the circular gauge clockwise, the image gets broken up into multiple shapes, which create the unique pixelation effects.
Shake Functionality was incorporated to create random results.
When no activity is occurring, or the finger has left the screen, the circular mixer is muted in colour to give a clearer view of the image behind it.
