To direct the creative & brand aspect to the event for 2011 & 2012.
The festival undertakes a fresh new direction every year as a means of reinventing itself to the public.
Year 1 consisted of creating a new brandstamp & that would be recognisable to the public & distinguishable from their competitors. This was followed through to the digital & printed matter to created a strong brand presence.
Year 2 was taking the foundation work from the previous year & expanding it further. A new visual direction was devised, which consisted of strong imagery & colour & reinforced by the contribution of talented illustrators.
Each artist was given a profile page that acted as a means to promote themselves & other events they were involved.
Every year, limited edition branded vinyls of the DJ's mixes were created & handed out to promote the festival further & increase brand awareness.
A new musical theme is appointed every year, which acts as the creative brief for which a chosen illustrator is asked to create artwork in their own style.
Gerhard Human, was asked to produce his design for 2012 "The Music Sounds Better With You".
Design was placed on various promotional items from coffee cups to beer pumps.
