Identity and graphic system for the "Google & Mountain View Community Shuttle".
We created a design system that would be flexible enough to extend to other cities & countries but still stay true to the principles specifically developed for the individual city.
The project was predominately a visual exercise but also suggested innovative ideas around social engagement & local businesses.
Using an unsual mixture of the Material palette to represent both brands (Google & City of Mountain View).
The theme of intertwinement was the consistent metaphor we used to bind all our thinking and executions.
The design direction consisted of 16 unique tiles all designed on the same grid matrix.
A connection can always be made between each tile, even when flipped or rotated to reinforce the concept of intertwinement.
